    Hello,

First of all, I really enjoy the app and the customization, despite it having a some annoying issues, you always have to find solutions around. This is an issue I couldn't find a solution to.

When I watch a 2160p movie (H.265 (HEVC)), I occasionally get microstutters, which kind ruins the mood, since they are very noticeable.
I have tried a few things in the transcoding to see if I could resolve this, without any luck.

My NAS server is a DS423+
The output device is my PC, which is very powerful, and should have no issues whatsoever.
I am running it through the Jellyfin PC app, browser (firefox) doesn't support this format.

Looking under the dashboard the stream is running in direct play, so no decoding. There is also no option for decoding H265, might be due to the NAS.

However, when I play the movie directly from the server through VLC, there were 0 microstutters .
I tried running the same movie through Plex (free version), and there were also 0 microstutters.

Tried running the movie through a remote TV, (Plex, since that was the only thing installed), also 0 microstutters.

Any suggestions as to what I can do to resolve this issue?

So there shouldn't been any issues with the client PC.

Another mod mentioned that other JMP users were experiencing microstuttering with the newly released version. Could you try downgrading to v1.11.1 and see if that makes a difference?

Uninstall the new version and then delete these folders:

    C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Jellyfin Media Player
    C:\Users\ username \AppData\Local\JellyfinMediaPlayer

The v1.11.1 does not have the microstuttering. The video quality is perfect.
