It's my first post so I'd like to say hello to the whole jellyfin community Upside-down-face

I'm about to move my media collection to a new NAS which is jellyfin capable.

I've been using Kodi for years now. Most of metadata in my library is quite easy to re-scrap from online sources but I also have a collection of music videos and family recordings where I made the nfo files by hand. And that took a lot of time.

I assume kodi and jellyfin use different layout for the NFO files. Is there a valid approach to migrate / import metadata from kodi nfo files into jellyfin?

NFO data is somewhat standardized and Jellyfin/Kodi can freely use each other's NFOs. What may be an issue are file names for the NFOs. Also, AFAIK, Jellyfin will not use any image fields specified in the NFO. It will only look for locally stored images with certain file names.

Thanks. Naming should not be a problem since all my DIY NFOs have the same name as the files they contain metedata for.
