movie and series categories ?

Hello,
I'm new and would like to add the movie and series categories: Science Fiction, Adventure, Action, Comedy etc. .... to the default menu. Is this possible?

You can do this by making multiple libraries and naming each how you want them to be named.

You can't mix movies and TV shows into a single library.
Movies need to be separated from shows and each put into their respective library types to make sure Jellyfin can ID them right.

No problem for bookstores or separate folder, we talk about category, categories: Science Fiction, Adventure, Action, Comedy etc..... but on the default page, sorted by category and automatically by Jellyfin or by plugins I don't know but I need categories: Science Fiction, Adventure, Action, Comedy etc.....

So to be precise, there is no mix of movies and TV shows in the bookstore, I have a movies category and a series category but not separated to do science fiction, action, adventure, comedy etc ..... and I would like to have that on the home page please.

The home page will only show libraries. If you want content broken down by genre on the home page, you'd need to do what efficient said. You need to manually organize your content and create a separate library for each genre folder.

There is no plugin or configuration you can change to do what you're asking.
