    Hello all

I have been using Jellyfin for several months now, and all wa working well.

My jellyfin server is installed as an app on a truenas scale VM which in tern is installed as a vm on a proxmox server.
Due to several mishaps while improving my proxmox boot drive updating truenas and Jellyfin, i had to uninstall and reinstall several time jellyfin.

Now that everything is up and running and i configured my Jellyfin server, I see that when my movies collection is created, no images for the movie collection is found.

Did i miss configuring  a setting? I would like to see a pictures for this library as i did before

In addition i see that many images of music artists and albums do not appear.

I do have every music image extractor (audiodb music brains ) selected

Thank you for any assistance provided

I still say to use less internet and use more cabernet (responsibly (only if driving))

IMO, there are too many layers of virtualization. It probably can't get out to the Internet. If you shared your jellyfin logs via pastebin, would could figure that out for certain.

The TrueNAS scale app on a baremetal TrueNAS install is already sub-optimal and not officially supported. Now there are two more layers of virtualization on top of that?

Why not install Jellyfin in it's own, dedicated LXC?

    @TheDreadPirate

thank you for this message I did install in the beginning Jellyfin server as a proxmox ubuntu lxc. I even added samba to the lxc

I got stuck at that time on how i can load my truenas scale /mnt/media/Movies....etc into Jellyfin media player.

At that time it sounded as i had to mount all my media (9TB) to the jellyfin lxc not possible. I even tried to mount the truenas disk as passthrough. here i really screw the pooch hence i gave up.

I still have the jellyfin lxc on proxmox

So this is why i opted for the truenas app route. It was simple enough that even i could do it.

    I did successfully

Now since my debacle I'm struggling to get it all up to snuff.

It must be a setting that i omitted to activate/modify

    Thank again for your help

I'm not given a password prompt. Private or pending moderation, it says

I understand, but I am not prompted for a password.

Can you zip the log file and attach it to a forum post?
