New Jellyfin install

Hello all

Following a massive disaster, i hade to totally rebuild mymedia environment.

I had Proxmox a dell r720 in which i installed truenas scale.

In truenas scale i installed anew Jellyfin app.


Jellyfin is configured and is up and running> can reach the Jellyfin server via the App section of truenas by clicking view no issue.


However Now When i start jellyfin client Regardless of the pc i get connection failure ensure that its running and connected

when i type 192.168.1.124:8096 and on my android phone I get tried 2 candidates for input without success.

My Jellyfin configuration is as follows:

Published url: 192.168.1.124:8096

UID: 3001
GID: 3001       
(i created uid and gid 3001 in truenas credentials with full control)

host network un-checked

web port: 30013

I tried to delete and install Jellyfin client to no avail

What can i do to fix all this?

Is enable remote connections checked under networking?
