Hi everyone. I've got Authentik setup, and I'm trying to find out if there is another plugin repository or something available for Jellyfin for auth besides ldap. I was hoping something like openid or oauth2 would be available. I'm hunting through the guides section right now and I cannot find anything except an ldap guide (very clear and nice btw). I apologize if this has been asked before, new-ish here... comparing Jellyfin to an existing Plex install for features/quality/performance etc etc.. thanks.

AFAIK, there is no plugin, or even the possibility, for Jellyfin to work with OAuth currently. Kind of goes against the intended use case for Jellyfin. It being a 100% self-hosted home media server.

Sounds good, thanks for the info. I can attempt the ldap setup in Authentik... never tried, but we'll see how it goes, thanks.

I would like this to be possible also.

Since i do selfhost everything i would like a custom OpenID login button.
I host my own OpenID login so it would be nice if Jellyfin could use it for login.
Then i can disable/enable my users from my openID website.

There is an oauth plugin available.    Have a look at: https://github.com/9p4/jellyfin-plugin-sso
