    Hi!
    • Jellyfin ver 10.9.11
    • Linux Docker

The  SHOW section is a complete disaster. Seaons are recognized, IMDB links work. But the pages are displayed very strangely, there are no icons, etc. (see screenshots)

In the MOVIES section- there are movie icons, but there is no list of actors, etc.

This is how it look like at all devices  Face-with-head-bandage
Otherwise everything works fine! Everything is playing well, viewing continues from where it stopped, etc.
    Please help)

Can you provide examples of your folder and file names? And share your full jellyfin log via pastebin? Are you using any online metadata providers? Or are you only using NFOs and local images?

You should rename the folders for the shows and movies to follow Jellyfin's naming convention:

    https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/shows/
    https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/movies/

I rename some MOVIES it doesnt help at all (refresh metadata) example-
    Road House (2024).mp4
    The Killer (2023).mp4
    is it correct?

But what about SHOWS that are still being shown? After each series download, rename the files? Is there another way?
I understand that this is not entirely correct, but EMBY works just fine with these folders. But with emby I encountered another problem that I have not yet been able to solve.

Jellyfin's file name parser is not as flexible as Emby or Plex.

Can you rescan and "replace all metadata"? Then share the jellyfin log once that completes. What you shared doesn't have any of the logs from when the content was initially scanned.

    1) You say that " Jellyfin's file name parser is not as flexible as Emby or Plex ". What will this affect?  All SHOWS and MOVIES are recognized correctly. The problem is not in recognition. Images are not attached to the cards and the page rendering is very strange. Could it be a permissions issue?

    in log you can see:
Fontconfig error: No writable cache directories

Did you enable the images to be stored alongside the media files? Check if images have even been downloaded in the first place.

An easy way to do this is to open the image editor in the GUI for any show.

The fact that the periods are still in the names in Jellyfin UI tells me it wasn't properly identified.

I see the error in the log for one of the thumbnails. But Jellyfin should lookup thumbnails online or scan the video and capture a frame. And I don't see any other permission errors when it is probing the video files.

Do you have any metadata providers enabled in the library settings? TMDB? TVDB?

The "Fontconfig" error is harmless, AFAIK. I see it in my LSIO test container.

    1) for SHOW - The Open Movie Database.

let's do an experiment. This is what my section SHOW looks like

Let's look at the folder ANDOR 2022

The show is recognized. There is a description, rating, link to IMDB. But there are no posters, banners, actors etc.
Inside jellyfin CACHE folder we have OMDB folder. There we can find file- tt9253284.json
Inside this file there is all the information about the actors, a link to the poster, rating, etc. -please open it

    Andor folder strukture

So why doesn't all this work?
