Hi! This feels like a really specific issue but I couldn't find a post that would also describe it. First off, I'm using the version 10.8.11 through Windows Installer. I'm not sure where the logs are so if they are relevant I'll look for them. My issue is as follows: whenever there are multiple artists (or album artists), and one of them has a character outside of the basic Latin alphabet, only the first artist gets fetched and the rest do not. Here are some examples:

Song artist in file metadata | Song artist in Jellyfin
    ---
    Öwnboss; Selva | Öwnboss
    Bishu; Séb Mont | Bishu
    zensei ゼンセー | zensei ゼンセー

I can add the missing artists manually, by editing metadata through Jellyfin. This correctly creates new artist entries (in the "Artists" tab), however, they are not linked with the songs, as pictured below. If there is any more info that would be useful to provide, please let me know! Thanks for the help Smiling-face

In case anyone finds it in the future, the solution I found to work was switching from ID3v2.3 to ID3v2.4 tags. Then I refreshed the tags in some other software and everything works!

Interesting. ID3v2.4 added UTF-8 character encoding. ID3v2.3 would accept UTF-8, but implementation wasn't mandatory.
