I downloaded Spider-Man: Far from Home IMAX Edition (in some parts of the movie there are no black bars at the top and bottom). The movie is downloaded to a PC and is transferred via DLNA to an LG Oled C3 in the jellyfin application. The problem is that during IMAX scenes the black bars remain, but become relatively transparent. Is it really impossible to completely remove them? I tried watching through Plex or the built-in LG player and everything is fine there, but I lose Dolby Vision which jellyfin provides.

It's probably bad DV metadata. I'm guessing it's a Hybrid (DV and HDR10+). Try to fix the cropping values mentioned in this thread: https://forum.jellyfin.org/t-dark-bars-o...7#pid52577

To fix this while keeping Dolby Vision, avoid DLNA and instead use the Jellyfin native webOS app or a connected device like a Fire TV, Apple TV, or NVIDIA Shield.
