I updated jellyfin from 10.9.0 to 10.9.7 on my xpenology (synocommunity repository) and after that any try to transcoding ends with "Playback error Playback failed due to a fatal player error".
    Transcoding setting the same.
I use Intel pentium G4400 (skylake)

Before update I used ffmpeg (w/o any numbers, from synocommunity too), after update it requires ffmpeg 6, I installed it and gave it all rights (r/w) to all media libraries

Please post jellyfin and ffmpeg transcoding logs via pastebin.( ah you posted logs already let me check)

Do you have any Intel driver loaded?

It could be G4400 is not supported via QSV anymore... Try to change to vaapi just for testing.

If it's a community based version of Jellyfin, you should write about this on their forum, can you downgrade, if, does it then work again?

This is a community built version of ffmpeg, although it uses our patches, the Intel libs shipped with it may be missing. Skylake requires the MediaSDK runtime instead of VPL.
