    Random Project Idea.

A project idea I've been mulling over.

Ok, so I'll try to make this short.  Many moons ago I put together this compilation of software yada yada yada...this was in the WinXP, Win7 era...blah blah blah... basically a completely Portable Desktop Environment meant to run over Windows based on bbLean.  You can actually still find a version of CameoPDE on SourceForge 😀.

But anywho, I was looking at what xoblite has done with the blackbox code and thinking of making a new Cameo but Portable Media Center, really Entertainment Center Environment for Windows (think replacement windows shell for a HTPC or HTPC client/set top mini PC).  I would like to include the portable version of Jellyfin.  Is that OK?  Or will I catch flak?

During CameoPDE's heydays Mozilla and Portable Apps said it was cool then one sent a cease a desist and the other tried to bury it.  I'll let you guess who was who lol.

So that's why I'm asking before I even start.

Jellyfin has a permissive license, so you are free to do what you would like.
If you make any changes to Jellyfin you are required to have those changes public
We also ask that you follow our branding guidelines: https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/contri.../branding/
