Hi all, I was not able to find a field in the Jellyfin music library for record label of albums/releases. Am I missing something, or does Jellyfin not support this metadata?

I don't believe it supports that field. If you "edit metadata" for a song or album there is no record label field. There is a "studio" field, IIRC.

Thanks for your response. Yes, that is correct, however, two issues with that is 1) it does not get populated automatically from Musicbrainz / AudioDB / Discogs; and 2) Symfonium (the app I use on my phone) does not show this metadata field unfortunately.
Any reasonable chance that if I request this feature, it will be implemented in the reasonable foreseeable future?

AFAICT, there is no existing feature request.

No idea when or if this would get implemented.

Hey! If you would like a workaround to this problem you can use Jellyfin version 10.8.13. This is the last version of Jellyfin that populates the Record Label metadata tag into the Studio field for music files. It works great with Symfonium which I also use. I also would love to have the record label show up in Jellyfins latest version. All of my music is organized by Record Label. If you can run 2 Jellyfin servers (10.8.13 for Music and the Latest for video) this is a great way to get the Record Label tags to show up. Hope this helps. Did you ever make a feature request for this?

This is not good advice as there are security vulnerabilities on server versions below 10.10.7 such as: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/sec...-r7gp-q32m
