    Hey there!

I was wondering if SACD ISOs work with jellyfin?

So far they are being recognized as files and they appear in the desktop client but they can't be played.

I was wondering what the progress is with the possibility to use this kind of music format.

Like you know when you load the SACD ISO in foobar for example, it shows all the stereo(2ch) tracks and all the multichannel(5ch usually) tracks. Would be nice to have this with jellyfin too in the clients when you click on a SACD ISO from the server.

I'm asking around. For CDs, DVDs, and Blurays Jellyfin is supposed to support playing those. I see codec for playing DSD.

I'm waiting on the dev that is the authority on this subject to respond in our chat.

TLDR; You're going to have to rip your disc.

That wouldn't be an issue HOWEVER, once you use something like iso2dsd, the files take 2-3 times more space on the hdd compared to just storing them as an ISO.
ISO is better way to store them...

Probably because it is converting DST to DSD? Is there a way to keep them DST?
