after a recent update JF started auto-adding all my movies to collections and removing them from the main movies library view. I don't want this. How can I safely remove/delete all collections and get all the movies back to where they were originally in the library? I need a way that doesn't involve manually removing every movie from hundreds of collections. Will simply deleting the collections library work, or does that delete/mess up the contents, too?

You need to unselect Dashboard-> Libraries-> Display -> Group movies into collections.

I did that, but all the movies that were grouped into collections already still remain there. How do I un-do the grouping?

EDIT: Wait, nevermind... I went under Dashboard>Libraries>Libraries>Movies>Manage and unchecked 'automatically add to collection', which is different.

disabling it in Dashboard>Libraries>Display did fix the issue of displaying them in collections.

Are there any file system changes associated with this that I may potentially need to fix, or is it simply a display property in JF?

That's all you need to do, it's just a display property.
