I attempted to test this but wasn't able to replicate the issue. Could you try opening Jellyfin in a private browsing window and perform a search?

I was also unable to reproduce with NFOs and no metadata providers on a fresh test library.

Searches found the episode no problem.

If I write any word in the Search field - it simply doesn't display episodes (like People, Movies, Albums, Songs etc. - this all are displayed - using the J. media player).

Here I found a similar thread - but also without solution...

Does it work in a private browser? I'm trying to narrow down whether it's an issue with the server, web UI, or client.

Opened Web UI with Firefox private window - same result. No Episodes when I search for something (only Search results for the other stuff like Movies, Albums, People etc.)

Alright, good. I didn’t expect it to work, just wanted to confirm it wasn’t something specific to JMP. Could you create a test TV library and add a series without any NFO files, using the default selection for the library? And check of those items are searchable. Trying to rule out the NFOs file as the issue.

Created a test library with series without nfos. Loaded with Jellyfin's scrapers.

    Episode names still not searchable.

Can you share your jellyfin log via privatebin.net?

I am also unable to find any episodes via search of any of my TV shows. No errors in logs from what I've seen and I found this thread from late last year talking about the same Slightly-frowning-face

I just noticed I am having the same issue. Searching episode titles returns no results.

Search is also slow and seems to take several seconds to return other results.
