Hi! So, I'm having this issue with the Android TV client.

Since the last update (0.18.3 i think), I've been having some issues when some shows reach the Intro. It happened to me watching some shows but not others, which is weird; the player will end the cold opening scene, the opening will begin, and it will stop playing(screen will turn black but player buttons will still be on screen) and I'll get an error like "Player has found an error, retrying..."(this is a translation, since my Jellyfin is in spanish by default). If I wait it out, it'll reload the episode, I'll see the first frame of it while it tries again to load from the timestamp it left off, and it'll "crash" again with the same error.

I believe this may have something to do with the intro skip function, which I see is now available in the default options, but hadn't seen before. I don't get any skip intro button either way, even though I already installed the intro skipper to see if it fixed things.

    I'm using a Fire Stick 4K.

I've searched around but found no answers. My server was recently updated to 10.10.3, and I believe the issues started there. It wasn't on 10.10 before the update, I had to do it because it stopped being compatible with the Fire TV client.

Any help is really appreciated, thanks!

Post server and ffmpeg logs when you attempt to play a file.

    Hi! Thanks for replying!

Here are the relevant jellyfin logs, with some newlines separating what I think could be pertinent lines.
And here the ffmpeg logs, which I really can't understand at all, had to google to get to them. Sorry ^^'

It appears that the issue lies with the subtitles in the file and ExoPlayer. After conducting some tests, I found that the file consistently crashes at the intro. I don't think this is related to the media segments (intro skipping). As a workaround, setting your audio output to stereo should allow the file to play without errors. To do this, go to Preferences -> Playback and set the audio output to "Downmix to Stereo."

This is like magic to me. I don't understand how on earth you got to that solution, but it worked! It worked wonderfully.
If you have the time and will to explain to me the connection between subtitle issues and the audio output, I'm incredibly curious about it. But anyway, if you don't want to it's all good. Thank you so much for your answer and for solving my issue!

    Cheers!
