I am receiving this error anytime I trying to play a video, either movies or tv show. I open jellyfin via browser on my windows machine using this address http://127.0.0.1:8096/
Then I click on a video and get a black screen with this message.

see here for pic (or attached):

    Playback Error
This client isn't compatible with the media and the server isn't sending a compatible media format.

Here is a log from "C:\ProgramData\Jellyfin\Server\log"
    Paste bin:
    https://pastebin.com/dQVE6JYP

Here are the first couple lines of the log file:
    Code:
    /videos/681aea04-a4b3-41e8-a88f-1fa7e8572898/live.m3u8
    {"Protocol":0,"Id":"681aea04a4b341e8a88f1fa7e8572898","Path":"C:\\Users\\speed\\Downloads\\Chipset_10.1.1.14_Public.zip","EncoderPath":null,"EncoderProtocol":null,"Type":0,"Con

For some reason Jellyfin thinks I am trying to play a .zip file??? How can I fix this issue? I think there may be a config setting that is set incorrectly or a cache issue. Not sure, any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

Is your library pointed to your downloads folder? Can you share the full jellyfin log? Not the ffmpeg log?

My bad, I never "noticed" the other logs down at the bottom.

    Here is the full log:

    That was it!!!
    @TheDreadPirate Thank you very much!

I was messing around with prerolls a while back and that is probably when all this started. I didn't mind so much back then because the Jellyfin server worked well and played videos on my TV with no problems, this only occurred when trying to watch a video locally on the Windows machine via the web browser. Thanks again!

Switching gears do you know of a good tutorial/website/plugin that works well for showing prerolls? Because the one I currently run does not seem to be working well.

    Thank you

I do not use pre rolls nor am I aware of a good AND current walk through. Sorry.

But what are you having trouble with, specifically? I installed Local Intros on my test instance and it doesn't look too complicated.
