Hello, I installed jellyfin with Truenas Scale, I have an error when I want to launch an episode, I have the error: "This client is not compatible with the media and the server does not send a compatible format".

    Log :
    .txt   log.txt (Size: 1.07 KB / Downloads: 116)

I already have an installation of jellyfin on ubuntu (on another server) that works perfectly, which makes me think that the problem isn't with my files.

    Os : TrueNAS-SCALE-23.10.2
    JellyFin Version : 10.8.13
    Client : Web Client (FireFox)
    Cpu : AMD Ryzen 9 5900X

Hope you can help me out here,

    greetings

Do you have a GPU in your system? If not, what did you set for your transcode settings?

No, I don't have a GPU and my processor doesn't have an integrated GPU. Does this cause a problem for transcoding?

And I left the default settings

It shouldn't. I was just making sure you didn't select AMD AMF because you have an AMD CPU (other users have done this).

Can you share your ffmpeg log? Either attach to your post or copy it to sourcebin. https://sourceb.in/

They are in the same directory as the Jellyfin logs. In a container, the container path is /config/logs. You can also acces them in the JF UI, Dashboard > Logs. Are there any logs that begin with FFMPEG.Transcode?

I don't find any mention of ffmepg in the jellyfin logs. I've added the logs in SourceBin

Sourcebin should have generated a link. Can you provide the link to your logs?

Which Docker image are you using? The official image? LSIO? TrueCharts?

It doesn't look like it is launching FFMPEG at all. But it is configured to allow transcoding, which your client is indicating needs to be done.
