SOLVED: High CPU usage in certain situations

Some Applications throttle CPU when using subtitles.

    Hello All.

I have bumped into a wierd issue.
If I play a movie straight from the browser or the Android app, CPU usage bumps to about 90% usage, and makes everything very laggy.
I found that for PC, this issue doesn't exist if I use the JellyFin Media player, but on my android tablet it still does it. Are there any alternatives to JellyFin, that doesn't do this? Or is there just a way to fix it entirely?
    Info Below:

    Jellyfin:  10.8.10.r01
    Docker on an Asustor NAS

Please let know if you need any more information. And maybe how to get it. I am kind of new Upside-down-face

If anyone knows how to fix it, or circumvent it, it would be much appreciated.

    thanks!

Upload your Jellyfin log to pastebin or source bin and link back here. Redact and WAN IPs.

    1) What model Asustor?
    2) Can you also share a couple of the ffmpeg logs?

I suspect the CPU usage is your jellyfin server remuxing based on the logs here. But the ffmpeg log would confirm that.

The fact that you know what might be the issue is giving me hope.
    Thank you!

Edit: Forgot to give you the Asustor model
    It is an asustor AS6202T.

Oh. Its transcoding. Trying to create a subtitle overlay, if I'm reading the log right? Haven't see this particular message before. High CPU usage is 100% expected.

Because of the older, low power, CPU in your Asustor it is struggling a bit.

    okay then.

But how can it only struggle on the app on my tablet or phone, but run smoothly on my desktop with the Jellyfin Media Player?
Wouldn't it still require the same transcoding? And even then, I have already transcoded my movies with handbrake (H264).

    Thank you very much!

No. Not every client supports exactly the same subtitle formats or codecs.

Ah I see now. My DVD's Subtitles come in the format SPU, but my blu rays come with bdpg.
The SPU format is being transcoded.
    Well that kind of sucks.
Guess I gotta find some way to convert the SPU or get new movies. Or go without subtitles for certain movies.

Anyways, many thanks for the help!
