    Hello everyone,

I have the problem that no or incomplete metadata is loaded for certain episodes of a series.
I have this here as an example for 5 files of a season.
But unfortunately I can't figure out why this is the case.
The season and episode are recognized correctly, but for episode 5, for example, nothing else is stored (no episode name, no episode description, etc.).
I then thought it might be the .avi format, since the problem only occurred with the files that had this format, and I converted it to .mp4 with ffmpeg, but that didn't help either.
Is it possible that the files themselves are causing problems, because I suspect that the metadata should actually be there?
Or do you think there is a problem with obtaining the metadata?

Jellyfin runs in version 10.10.3 via Docker on a Synology DS220+ with DSM 7.2.2-72806 Update 3.
Screenshots, Logs and informations are attached or below.

    I'm happy for any help

    Thank you

Change the season folder names to just "Season #". Not sure if Jellyfin cares if you use English "Season" or German "Staffel". Give each a try.

Which metadata provider are you using? And which order are your files organized to match?

    Hi @TheDreadPirate,

    thank you for your response.

I created a new folder with season instead of "Staffel" an rescaned the libary.
But it ends in the same way - detection of season and episode is right, but no metadatas.

I provide my metadatas from TheMovieDB and The Open Movie Database.
On their website TheMovieDB provides data for season 9 https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/37854/seas...uage=de-DE.
I also added AniDB for testing reasons, but it changed nothing at all.
-> Database Plugins: AniDB, OMDb, TMDb, TMDb Box Sets

The files are organized like this:

    Series:
    - Seriesname
    - Seriesname Staffel 1
    - Seriesname S01E01
    - Seriesname S01E02
    - Seriesname Staffel 2
    - Seriesname S02E01
    - Seriesname S02E02

    Thank you

Is TMDB the top provider for both Seasons and episodes?

    Hi @TheDreadPirate,

I checked some options and changed the order.
Then I had the library search for missing metadata.
    TheMovieDB was always active though.

Unfortunately, this didn't solve the problem.

Or do I have to delete or replace the metadata again after I have activated/resorted databases?

    Thank you

The easiest solution is to simply recreate the library. Delete it from the dashboard->libraries, then re-add it. All watched data will be preserved.

    Hi @theguymadmax @TheDreadPirate,

Thank you very much for your help!
I was able to solve the problem now :-)

I have added more metadata providers and adjusted the ranking.
After rescanning the library with the "Replace all metadata" option, all the metadata is now there.

    Have a great weekend! :-)
