Does this issue happen while you are on LAN as well? Or only remotely?
And just for clarification, you've manually port forwarded but "Automatic port mapping" is still disabled, correct? That uses uPnP to create a port forwarding rule, but those automatic rules expire. I've seen users who both manually port forwarded, but left on automatic port mapping, have issues where the uPnP rule overrode their manually created rule and then expire. Are you also able to check if your server has run out of memory or swap?

Happens both places. I just double checked the automatic port mapping, and it is off.
I've tried several songs now, while having htop open, and it never nears the RAM limit. I've also tried increasing the swap from 200MB to 512MB, and still the same issue. Edit: I decided to try using chrome and see if it gave me more info, and it kinda did. It throws this error when playing flac files: Code: media element error: 2 PIPELINE_ERROR_READ: FFmpegDemuxer: demuxer seek failed I'm starting to think, it might be because i'm using the wifi chip on the Pi, and it simply cannot keep up transcoding and sending data. I sadly have no USB network adapter at the moment.

Mananged to find a usb network adapter. Same issue.

Another update: I decided to simply try reinstalling the OS, and gave DietPi a try. Now FLACs play without any issue! I can seek, and do everything I could do with MP3s before.
Seems like there was something wrong with the last OS installation. |
