    Hey i tried watching jellyfin from a roku box last night and saw the update announcement to 3.0.0 when i started it.  i was able to connect to the server and log in but it only showed next up with one image and would crash when i clicked on it.  today the app is not on any roku box but is still on / accessible form a chrome browser or my xbox app.   i installed the app back to one of the roku boxes and logged in. still only seeing next up and one image as the only thing there and it crashes when i click on it.  no error messages just back to home roku screen. so i uninstalled it again.  it still  works fine on chrome browser or xbox app.   no idea what to do but just offering in case its happening to other people.   i looked but did not see anyone reporting this specifically but if i missed it just link me to it and lock my thread thanks.

    Ok, that server version is not supported on the new app. You would need to upgrade or use the Jellyfin Legacy version of the Roku app.

    theguymadmax hope i am alerting you correctly. thanks. yes it was a version issue. i decided after all options to ( i have a recent backup to my entire NAS apps setting and content) update the jelly fin app in the sysnolgy system on my NAS. initially no errors. i had to go through setting up a admin account on jellyfin and recreating the user the roku boxes connect to. i also lost 2 playlists ( not upset just stating facts in case anyone else does this) I also had to set up the ( i forget the correct name) media folders IE movie , tv , music. and share them with all users. it did keep my ip and other info on the synology system so i did not have to do any networking but just wanted to share. its back and running good on all tv's My simplistic advice always have a good back up before you do any upgrade. i got pretty lucky i think and did not have to do a restore from back up so all in all it worked for me with minor setup steps needed. thanks

    @fabcrab

    Assume you run jellyfin in the Synology Container Manager. Glad you were able to connect the Roku Jellyfin app to the jellyfin server on NAS. Does your NAS jellyfin use "bridge" or "host" network? If you have forgotten, you can "export" the container details and search for "bridge" or "host".

    Thanks for the feedback.

    *** Update ***
    "bridge" network works very well with the Roku Jellyfin app. Found the Jellyfin server with the <IP>:port.
