    Hi everyone,

I'm running Jellyfin in a Docker container, and everything works fine on my phone and web browser. However, on Android TV devices (Firestick & Google TV), some movies refuse to play. When I click on the movie in the catalog, nothing happens—no loading, no error message, just nothing. No error messages appear, and the server logs show nothing when trying to play these files.

    Jellyfin versions:
    • Server version: 10.11.0
    • Web version: 10.11.0
    • Build number: 2025021314

    I've already tried:
    • Clearing cache & data on the Jellyfin app
    • Restarting the server & devices
    • Checking different playback settings

Still no luck. Has anyone encountered this before or have any ideas on what to check next?
    Thanks!

Are these hybrid files HDR files, with Dolby Vision and HDR10+? Post the media info for a file that you are having issues with.

I don't think so. You can find attach 2 mediainfo of 2 files impacted.

    Attached Files
    .txt   File1.txt (Size: 6.17 KB / Downloads: 30)
    .txt   File2.txt (Size: 12.08 KB / Downloads: 28)

Oh I just realized you're using the the unstable build.  Jellyfin is in the process of a major EFCore refactor. Here are a few posts about it:

Here are known bugs so far:

    This one looks like yours:
    https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/13570

Luckily this one has been fixed already. You need to update to the latest unstable build. There are still a ton of bugs to be worked out, so be prepared for issues as linked above.

Unless you made a backup of your database before you upgraded, there is no going back.
