When I'm not transcoding my HDR to SDR tonemapping settings aren't applied which is in some scenes way to dark. When transcoding everything works fine. But because I have my files are encoded in av1 and all my devices support av1 transcoding is only done on low quality settings.

It isn't transcoding the video. From the info in the log, this is HDR10+? I'm having a hard time finding if any browser supports that.

I think it is because I'm using a Browser. In the Media Player App tonemapping works as it should.
    Thanks for your help

Some browser like chrome will report it can play HDR video even when you are only connected to an SDR display and will attempt to do client-side tone mapping. The quality of such client side tone mapping is very implementation specific and the chrome one is quite awful in some cases. We may add an option in the future to override this behavior so that the client can always force transcoding and use server side tone mapping.
