Hey IcyDiamond,
This has sat for a few days, and I brought it to the server team's attention to see if anyone could think of anything simple that we're missing. I'm assuming by the lack of additional replies that nobody else has any idea either. Let's chalk this up as a bug and have you convert all of this information to an issue for the github. You can add it here: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues

I have been experiencing the same issue since upgrading from 10.8.9.
My setup is different, but I'm experiencing the exact same issue. What I have noticed is that it only happens _when I have hardware acceleration enabled_. My setup: - Bare metal Ryzen7 5800X / 5700XT / 32GB ram with Proxmox 7.4 as my Hypervisor - VM: Ubuntu 22.04, 2 CPU Threads, 4GB RAM, with 5700XT GPU Passed through to Ubuntu 22.04 Everything was working properly using 10.8.9 and Jellyfin-ffmpeg5. Upgrade to 10.8.10 and suddenly experiencing the exact same issues mentioned by the OP. Tried changing ffmpeg versions (both up and down), and recently upgraded to server 10.8.11 but still the same issue. If I go into the options and disable the hardware acceleration, the video playback is smooth as normal. I have reset and redone the GPU passthrough configuration on the hypervisor and the VM side with the same results. I have also tried adding CPU and Ram resources to the VM, but watching top and other resource monitors, it does not seem to be a performance/hardware issue. Everything else checks out okay.
