    Hello,

Is it possible to sort the movies in the display according to the filename and not the movie title?

Indeed, for certain sagas, I choose a chronological viewing order that doesn't always correspond to the order of release of the films.
    For example:
    Alien 1 [2091] - Prometheus (2012)
    Alien 2 [2103] - Covenant (2017)
    Alien 3 [2122] - Alien, le huitième passager (1979)
    Alien 4 [2142] - Romulus (2024)

    Thank you.

    David.

If you "Edit metadata" for the movie you can give it a "sorting title" that is separate from the display title.  This should allow you to give your movies arbitrary names for purposes of sorting.  I've done this for Lord of the Rings and other movies where the movie doesn't have a number in the name.

An example from my library and the "sorting title" names I gave them. Otherwise Return of the King would come before Two Towers.

    Hello,

Yes, maybe it is the best solution even if Jellyfin does not show the "sorting title" (as in your example with the lord of the rings).

Now, I have to find an option with "Tinymediamanager" to fill the sortingtitle (and I don't know how).

    Merry Christmas.

I've never used TMM so I can't guide you on how to make TMM add a sorting title.

I've found the solution with post-processing! Feel free to contact me if you're interested.
