There was an error adding the media path. Please ensure the path is valid and Jellyfin has access to that location.

Unable to add new library from the folder as above error message. Same access given to existing library without any issue

    OS: Window 10
    Jellyfin: 10.10.6

Is the folder you are trying to add part of another library?

How is Jellyfin installed? Is this a basic install or service install?

I am having this same problem on windows 11. I was able to add a "Movies library on initial setup. When I add the library, some of the folders seem to add and scan but some do not. I am using a DAS not an NAS

Are you getting the same error message?

Can you share your jellyfin logs via privatebin.net?
