As two examples, when it comes to extra features:
It makes it difficult to decide between the two, and I have far too many TV shows with extra features to be mixing and matching between them manually.
Jellyfin no longer ships with TheTVDB support out of the box (so via plug-in only), so I presume that is the way to go.
I cannot decide.
- TheTVDB has far more for The Big Bang Theory than TMDB but
- TMDB has far more for Red Dwarf than TheTVDB
