I just upgraded my jellyfin docker container to 10.9.1, and got the message to convert jellyscrub to trickplay. I cleared my cache/cookies on the browser as suggested (so the trickplay settings show up) and proceeded to my library settings. I selected "enable trickplay image extraction", but when I I hit save, I get the spinning circle, indefinitely (let it run overnight). I searched my log files to see if there was any indication of what was happening, and I saw these lines:
Daily trigger for "Generate Trickplay Images" set to fire at 2024-05-14 03:00:00.000 -06:00, which is 02:57:58.7007998 from now.
and this one
Generate Trickplay Images" Completed after 0 minute(s) and 26 seconds
Am I getting a visual bug, and trickplay is actually enabled, but not looking like it's enabled? After restarting the container, the options for trickplay are still unchecked which is why I'm leaning toward it's not working. It is possible that I missed a step in setting it up, and I will gladly accept the insults that would go along with the RTFM comments. .
This isn't affecting any other aspects of Jellyfin, just in case anyone was wondering.
