I am having trouble getting hardware tone mapping working with an AMD RX-550 with Truenas scale and docker.  I have tried to enable VPP tone mapping but that doesn't seem to map the colors at all. If I enable regular OpenCL Tone mapping it will map correctly but it seems to only use the CPU to tone map.  I have a Xeon E3-1220 V2 system running Truenas Scale version 25.04.2.3 and the latest Jellyfin 10.10.7.  This is with VA-API chosen as the transcoding method and all the supported codecs for this GPU.  It's kinda hard to tell if it's using the GPU or the CPU for transcoding.  Some HDR10 videos play smoothly though the cpu usage is pretty high.  Dolby Vision hits the CPU hard but I believe that is because it's not supported by Hardware tone Mapping.  I have included the FFMPEG log files for a HDR10 movie playing.

According to the logs, hardware transcoding is enabled correctly. It's just that the VCE hardware on the RX550 is too slow to meet the needs of real-time 4k HDR to 4k SDR transcoding.
