    each time I import a compilation I run the m3u script below in the compilations folder and all m3u's get updated and soon are imported in Jellyfin without issues. Winking-face

    I would love for Jellyfin to abandon the ancient and today pretty irrelevant album doctrine. not to talk about requiring us to destroy a neat file name of Artist - Song Name with the track number as filename....

    People consume music as singles mostly and artists many times dont even pay attention to any "albums". Sure if you "only" listen to "madonna" or "bruce sprengsteen" (great artists) then ok, but the amount of independent artists today require a flexible library giving the user freedom to put their music in folders of their like for instance genre. I hope Jellyfin can beat Plex at this too. Cheers
