Hi everyone,
I'm dealing with two challenges on my setup, which includes a Lenovo T470s laptop with Intel HD 620 graphics running Windows 10, streaming to a CU7192 TV via Jellyfin version 10.8.13:
Would greatly appreciate any tips or guidance on bypassing unnecessary transcoding and troubleshooting the DLNA server visibility issue. Thanks in advance for your help!
I'm dealing with two challenges on my setup, which includes a Lenovo T470s laptop with Intel HD 620 graphics running Windows 10, streaming to a CU7192 TV via Jellyfin version 10.8.13:
- Excessive Transcoding for 4K Video: When streaming a 4K video file (5GB) from my laptop, it automatically starts transcoding, pushing my CPU to its limits. This seems unnecessary since the same file plays perfectly from a USB drive on my TV. How can I enable direct streaming without this heavy transcoding?
- DLNA Server Not Showing on TV: Despite being able to send videos to my TV, the Jellyfin DLNA server doesn't show up in my TV's media browser. I'm puzzled about how to make the server visible on my CU7192 TV.
Would greatly appreciate any tips or guidance on bypassing unnecessary transcoding and troubleshooting the DLNA server visibility issue. Thanks in advance for your help!
