I want to download an episode of a show from my jellyfin server over mobile data but I get stuck on error "file too big. waiting for wifi." (the img/screenshot). I wanna know if this "error" is coming from jellyfin or android. I have no data caps set and no data saving.

Sorry if this comes off as dismissive, but isn't the point of downloading is so you DON'T have you use mobile data?  Pretty sure that message is intended and not a bug. If you don't have any mobile data caps, why not stream it full quality? Unless you are flying on an airplane or somewhere without signal.  I can't find any setting to override that.

My upload is just a bit under the bitrate of the video (the one I tried to download) that's why I can't stream full quality.

i went throught the source code and found out that you can change the setting only when clicking download for the first time.
Solved by cleaning apppreferences and clicking ~"download over mobile data" when prompted.
