I am unable to install the jellyfin_10.10.7_windows-x64.exe (newest Server AMD64).
When I try to install it through the .exe it, I get the Information, that a previous version already exists.
This version was installed on a now removed/failed drive. I have after the fact removed it through "Uninstall or change a program", which in this case just told me the file no longer exists and removed the entry.
When I continue with the install process, the installer does not prompt me for any directories and tries to overwrite/update the old install. This install is not accessible as the drive is no longer part of the computer, so it fails and does nothing.
I have tried multiple restarts, uninstallers, registry cleaners and simply going around in both file explorer and registry "CTRL + F" any mention of jellyfin, but the problem is still there.
Im on windows 11 and am assuming, that the problem is more likely with my windows install itself that I am unable to solve.
Jellyfin is completely useable by simply unzipping the .exe and running the jellyfin.exe in there, but isnt "installed".
Happy with any advice at all at this point. Thanks.
