Video & Music seeking

Thanks for the app and for all the work involved.

I have some questions on the current design and wondered if someone knowledgeable could comment on the player seek behavior in these cases below?

1) Video: Forward and Reverse (i.e. left or right click on the remote) brings up the seek bar and moves the current position but it doesn't resume playing until the center remote button is pushed twice.

2) Music: Forward/Reverse seek seems to be possible when triggered from a bluetooth device (i.e. headphones) and not from either the UI or the remote.

I am hoping to find out whether these behaviors are likely to change in the future (or is this design intentional)? 

Also, if I were interested in contributing to the project and submitting pull requests, what is the best way for me to understand what work is planned/underway?

Which client are we talking about here? Since you mentioned a remote, perhaps Android TV or Roku?

#1 is likely to change in the future. Specifically, making the behavior configurable. No ETA, but it is on the dev's radar.

No idea regarding #2.
