the resized pictures ive been trying to use are either library folder pictures or pictures for albums in the music library. the reason i wanna change them is because sometimes they appear cropped. thanks in advance.

EDIT: I forgot to mention i do know about the method to go to dashboard go to libraries and scan library and then scan for missing data.

The quickest way to apply the change would probably be to go to the item, select the content menu, then choose "Edit Images" and upload your images there.

ok i tried that but it still crops some of my images. The vast majority fit fine. so my next question is there a specific dimensions in a image that jellyfin accepts and never or almost never crops? im assuming its different for some images? what do you guys do when this happens?

I would look @ the dimensions of the images that work & resize the ones that don't to those.

gotcha. thanks jimmy. but are there any other suggsesitons? i use a resizer tool but sometimes when i use it doesnt look as good. i noticed the majority of the images that get cropped on jellyfin are due to height being too big. at least in my experience. when  i try to lower the height to get it to fit in screen it then looks worse than it did before.  so if anyone else can share their method around this it would be great. thanks again jimmy i will try your method as well.
