    hi everyone.

i downloaded some streaming videos as mp4s. the vast majority of them are recognized. Currently in my folder there are over 300. but i see some are not recognized by jellyfin. i even made those as mkv to test and they still are not recognized. here's the file info given by file explorer for some. also i should not i did not tinker with anything the way it was encoded. i just made them into mp4 using the preset. What library type are the videos in? And can you provide example folder and file names?

    hi

the library type the videos are in is home videos and photos. the example folder name is ARROW VIDEO and a example file name is

    39. Le Grande Bouffe - Newly restored _ back in cinemas. Official UK trailer

    and another is

    58. American Horror Project Vol 1 Trailer

these two files are examples that Jellyfin isn't recognizing and are both mp4s.

It’s probably a bug since the title includes the word "trailer." Try putting it in parentheses, like this: 9. Le Grande Bouffe - Newly restored _ back in cinemas. Official UK (trailer).

    Index-pointing-up

"Trailer" is a reserved word that should only be applied in movies and shows libraries.

    https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server...ile-suffix

    So almost certainly a bug.

thanks guys it was the term trailer and how it was placed. putting it in parenthesis at the end of the filename solved the problem. Cheers!
