Hello everyone, since Updating to Windows Server 10.9.x and now just after boot and every 1–2 hours a conhost.exe under jellyfin.exe reads Windows Foreground.wav. It produces a strange sound, do you have an idea to get rid of it?

I have already stopped the process, nothing changes I restarted the Jellyfin service it takes 1 or 2 hours conhost.exe comes back so can you help me please this is the first time this has happened to me since I started using Jellyfin any help is welcome

This could be Jellyfin notifications when certain events happen on the server. Are you adding new content when this happens? Jellyfin will send system notification when new content is added, the server shutsdown, etc.

Look in event viewer for clues. Also look in your jellyfin activity log in the dashboard to see if you can find anything going on that might trigger this.

Any minor tasks being performed like cleaning up the transcode folder, or checking for plugins and such? Check the tasks and see if any were performed recently after you hear the noise.

    unfortunately it came back

Nothing appears in the event observer the same for the resource monitor I don't know what part deleted and reinstalling it bothers me a little but if it's the only solution I would do it all the time

Probably something Jellyfin is printing to the console is being interpreted as containing the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell_character. I assume you're using procmon to see when Windows Foreground.wav is being read - match the time to a message in your Jellyfin log file and you may be able to work out what message is causing it (something with a particular filename?).

According to this you might be able to just mute the console for the Jellyfin server. Other pertinent answers there talk of turning off the beep sound globally, which is a little drastic as an option.
