Wrong recording location

I have recently started using Jellyfin (10.11.3) server, installed on MacOS.
I have set it up with a Live TV Tuner using M3U to a VBox tuner, plus XMLTV based EPG.
I am able to view live streams and make recordings.

In the Live TV/DVR section of the dashboard, I configured both the File recording path and the Programmes recording path to locations on an external drive, the same one where I keep my libraries.
Because: 
1. I do not want to keep large media files on my boot drive.
2. We are told not to mix TV & Movies.
3. I wanted to add these two paths to my existing Movie and TV libraries.

What I am finding is that TV shows are saved to the configured path for programmes, however films are still being saved in the Default recording path.

I have checked that the permissions are correct.
I have reconfigured and saved the paths several times.

Does anyone have suggestions to resolve this?

Yes, I tried several times

I found I could resolve the issue of where films were saved, by setting the default recording path to the location I want for films, while leaving the tv programme recording path alone. Setting the film recording path without duplicating that in the default results in films being stored in the default.

This is either a bug with Live TV DVR itself or there is some way this configuration in Jellyfin can trash itself.

Neither are happy prospects … what’s up?
