    Hello.

I'm having quite a lot of problems with playlists in Jellyfin.
I recently moved over from Plex and migrated my playlists as M3U then converted to XML playlists.
However periodically all tracks are removed from these playlists.

I've taken to creating a backup and attempting to restore the XML file - I can see the tracks in the XML file but the playlists are empty in the GUI.

I saw a post about the userID potentially changing - so I tried to create a new playlist to confirm this but when I create a blank playlist I get "error creating playlist"

    I'm on the latest version.

Are the files (music) located on a remote filesystem (SMB, NFS)? My music is stored on a different file server and is mounted to the Jellyfin VM as SMB. I had the same issue after migrating from JF 10.8.13 to 10.9.x.

I had to redo the migration, disable the automatic start of JF, and also disable the script in JF that cleans up playlists.

Hey there! I faced the same problem when migrating from Plex. Firstly, you need make sure your Jellyfin instance has the correct permissions to read/write the playlist files
