Jellyfin keeps fetching wrong metadata and images

Remember, you need to make sure you have plug ins for the DB you want to use.

Example, i had an issue pulling from TVDB for Shows library, and realized i did not have a plugin for it installed.

Hi, Any update on this? Im having a similar problem using Identify to get the correct metadata but never updates after finishing. I tried using IMDb ID but same issue.

Which metadata provider is your primary? And what show/movie? Can you provide what the folder and file name is?

That has happened to me.  I just turn off the 'update metadata' after I manually revert what it messes up.  I think it has to do with the way it scrapes the data but I'm not sure.  I found my fix and left it at that.

How did you fix it? Jellyfin metadata has not worked correctly for me for like 10% of the time. Even shows named Loki (2024) get wrong metadata matching to some Anime called Loki Ragnarok. Gundam SEED Freedom (2024) matched to old Gundam movie in early 2000s.
