Release year not showing on Android TV [SOLVED]

The release year is in the top left below the title.

I must apologise that I wasn't quite clear in my original post; what I'm talking about is the home screen display which shows an expanded view including the title and release year (or in the case of Android TV now, the content rating and review rating). I do remember now that the library screen doesn't show any information under the posters .
