The screensaver image is even worse it's sent at 100% quality, stored in the cache (default same drive as jelly) and almost always ends up with an image being much bigger than the original image. I've witnessed 2MB background images, being converted to 15MB and then sent over WAN.
My jellyfin cache folder (not transcode) is currently 18GB of mostly images that have been re compressed to a bigger file size and sent to a client. Bind boggling.
