app connection issue

Hi
I've just installed Jellfin server on my backup pc and it's great on the home network.
I've port forwarded 8096 on the router to the pc,
and when not at home that works great as well.

However, the home ip address is not static,
so i have created a php file on my website which does a http redirect to the home ip address (this file is updated daily).

so when you type "http://mywebsite/jellyfin.php" into a brwoser when not at home,
that works great, and goes straight to the server.

howver, when I put that into the app as the server,
i does not connect.

Is there a way to get the app to redirect to the ip address?
