How are you trying to connect?
    Reverse-proxy, VPN, home ip

If using reverse-proxy try setting up caddy or nginx proxy manager
    - https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/post-i...xy-manager
    - https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/post-i...roxy/caddy

In case you need a (free) domain get one on desec.io or duckdns.

Alternately you can use tailscale and connect using your tailscale address (ex: myhome.tail8382.ts.net:8096)
    No port forward needed

Do you have a public IP or a dynamic? Call your internet provider to know if you currently can connect from outside the network.
    Debian 12 | Jellyfin 10.10.7 docker | Intel N5105 | RAM 32 GB | 26 TB storage
