    Hi guys,

I've been using unraid for a little while now and as of recent i've been playing around to use my nvidia 1660 super to transcode with Jellyfin so it takes some load of my cpu I7-8700K. This as i got 3 people able to use jellyfin and we still like to run a minecraft server and some stuff on a vm (asseto corsa) on the side. I got 32 gb of ram and the motherboard is on the latest bios.

My main issue is that i can not encode (which makes sense) cause my GPU keeps dissapearing. nvidia-smi shows it as no devices available as well. I have reverted back to older drivers for the gpu as this makes the issue less common. PS when the GPU is there everything works withouth a hickup.

Sadly im currently a bit at a dead end. I'd love to keep the 1660 - as its convenient as its spare - but debating buying a new intel gpu as it seems more favorable to linux. However there still is older hardware in the loop that can't profit from AV1 yet, so I kinda want to not do that either.

I have googled, and asked friends about this. 1 more person in our homelab group has the same issue where the gpu just dissapears (but isnt to bothered about it to really dive into the issue). I am a bit lost as even Chat GPT isn't really being more helpfull anymore and i've been trouble shoting for a while. So i hope I can get some help here.

attached are the images when its working and when it is not. with both diagnostics of when it is and isnt working from unraid. I also added the error jellyfin pushes.

When i reboot the docker it tends to get the gpu back into the unraid in the plugin (which is also find strange). But sometimes it stayes and other times its gone within a few minutes. It also sometimes just returns by it self.

Thank you for taking the time to read the files if you do and looking foward to hopefully get ride of the issue.
