Hello!
TL;DR: is it possible to sync my music organization in MusicBee over to Jellyfin?
I use MusicBee to organize and play music on my computer, and I really like it. I have organized my music library within MusicBee itself, to get rid of little discrepancies here and there - for example, sometimes for whatever reason, the same album will show up twice with some songs in one album and some in another, so I edit all the songs to be part of the same album. My actual music folder on my computer is a bit of a chaotic mess, but I consider that fine since MusicBee is neat and tidy.
But here's the problem... now that I'm using Jellyfin to stream music to my phone (I use Fintunes to download music to listen to when I'm offline), my library is a chaotic mess again. Is it possible to fix this and sync my library as it exists in MusicBee over to Jellyfin? Or would I have to organize my music folder itself to fix this? I don't seem to be able to change this kind of thing in Jellyfin itself.
Hope that makes sense. Thanks folks
Quick edit: I realized that a much simpler example of the problem is genre. The metadata for songs by Iron Maiden puts it under "Rock" for its genre, but I would rather it be listed as "Heavy Metal".
