Where is everyone getting NAS storage? I'm finally in a place where I am starting to build my server out. Seems like NAS hard drives have really started to creep up from when I first started my Jellyfin journey. I'm looking for a couple 20 TB drives, but $800 or more is a bit steep. Any ideas? Thanks

Same struggle, friend. I have been re-using HDDs from old hardware with services that don't require fast/reliable storage. I know many people are buying re-certified enterprise drives (i.e., certified functioning by the original manufacturer, likely came from a data warehouse). Prices on anything above 18 TB seem to be out of reach for most folks.

The sweet spot for new drives used to be 12Tb (Ironwolf, $16.50 a TB). Now those have gone up $50 with availability hit or miss.

Yeah, I'm looking to kinda 'buy once, cry once' and not just piece together random scabs of HDs. It's crazy how much it's changed since I've started doing all this. I've basically down graded my plans of using an entire spare PC to build it up to now just buying one or two and adding to my current pc. pretty bummed.
