Ooops, my bad. Never mind. Thanks for the hard work! Looking forward to a few tweaks to make it even better!

I'm seeing a wild amount of "ffprobe" entries in my logs, and some pretty heavy CPU usage alongside it. What is this stuff all about? An example from my logs, but in reality it's pages and pages and pages of this stuff:
Code: [2024-05-16 14:11:36.238 -07:00] [WRN] [15] MediaBrowser.XbmcMetadata.Providers.MovieNfoProvider: Trailer URL uses a deprecated format : "plugin://plugin.video.youtube/?action=play_video&videoid=KKlqc5LUGMA". Using "plugin://plugin.video.youtube/play/?video_id=KKlqc5LUGMA" instead is advised.

Are you running a library scan?
Jellyfin 10.9.11
Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (bare metal) Intel i3 12100 on Asus Prime H610M-E D4 mATX 32GB DDR4-3600 Intel Arc A380 OS drive - SK Hynix P41 1TB Storage WD Green 3TB (Samba shares) WD Red 3TB CMR (WIP Media, Test libraries) 3x WD Red Pro 6TB CMR in RAIDZ1 (JF Library) Fractal Meshify 2 Corsair CX430

I don't think I was at the time, though it might have been scanning a newly added video. But even still, I haven't added more than a couple new videos in the last couple days, most of the lines are things that have been in my library for ages, and my logfile for today is at 13MB and counting (and it's only 2:35pm!), which seems insane. I also don't recall seeing anything like this in previous versions of Jellyfin.
Probably not a big deal if it doesn't recur, but seems alarming.

It's really not a big deal, but it used to be damn snappy. I have noticed the search on the main server machine to be a bit slow myself. Though sometimes prior search could be fast or be really slow so not sure how much that is the new 10.9.1 version and how much is other factors.

I've noticed that searching from the main page takes what feels like around 2-3 seconds longer than usual since the 10.9 update. However, when I access a specific library (e.g., Movies, Shows, Music) before initiating a search, the performance is similar to what it was pre-update. It seems like there's an increased delay when searching directly from the main page.

Switching users reloads the previous user, NOTHING works on my kids tablets anymore. Freaking great. Wonderful release. Can't even downgrade because the DB was updated and spits out errors if I try to use the previous release. Excellent work. Lack of backups or snapshots are not the fault of volunteer devs...I get it, learned myself. But maybe share logs or something to help remediate the issue... |
