    Playback Error

Playback Error: This client isn't compatible with the media and the server isn't sending a compatible media format.

I was thinking about deleting the config folders and restarting as that might actually be the quickest way. Just not sure if that will solve the issue.

You could just back up everything jellyfin related and let it start from scratch. If it still doesn't work, restore your backup and try the Synology forum/sub reddit. It might be something simple.

Yeah, I am trying on the Synology and reddit forums. No luck yet though. But thank you for your help. I greatly appreciate it. Smiling-face

I have an Ubuntu 22.04.3 operating system and use the audio portion of Jellyfin's Live TV functionality to stream audio from various radio stations around the world. That worked fine for many months. Then about a week ago I starting having "Playback Error: This client isn't compatible with the media and the server isn't sending a compatible media format." when trying to stream any BBC Radio station. Canadian, New Zealand, Australian, and a variety of other stations still stream fine without the error message.

We would need your logs to figure out what is going on.  Both the jellyfin and ffmpeg logs.

I have the jellyfin and ffmpeg logs in a zip file, but don't know how to send it to you.

As long as they aren't massive, we usually have people use pastebin. Plain text, not zips.
